Toucan Inn review

thanks to everyone for info re tobago prior to my visit.
we did love the toucan inn - but we did have a very basic room no pictures on walls or table lamps nothing.the poolside cabanas looked a bit more inviting. I think for 2 weeks it would have been a little too basic
but for a week it was fine. We loved the Christmas decorations and the staff were really friendly. Everyone was helpful and kind throughout Tobago. We did have rain but it didnt spoil our holiday. We did find the meals a little pricey and wished we had gone all inclusive. Just one word of warning watch out for the swimming pool my boyfriend never complains about anything - but after swimming he could see very well and had double vision a bit scary for him - I said it may be the chemicals in pool and he was fine the next day so swim like me on top of the water or wear googles.
