Toucan review.

Just wanted to inform anyone considering staying at the Toucan how pleased we were with the overall accomadation and eating options. As a first time visitor to the island , the location gave us plenty of flexibility when making trips out to local beaches, supermarket , boat trips etc and would certainly stay there again. The standard of the rooms were basic, but very clean and practical for what we needed. as others have mentioned on this site, the garden rooms were bigger and gave more seclusion than those situated next to the pool.

With reagrds to the food side, in hindsight we would of gone B & B as the menu was a bit limited on variation but that would be a bit harsh when all things considered. The main reason for opting away from Full board would be the good outside eateries that are all close by at reasonable prices and would add to to the Tabogo experience.

If there was any critism at all, it was slow service at very busy times when the staff were very much under preasure through lack of numbers behind the bar and serving tables . When all said and done we really enjoyed our stay..and yes there were a couple of moans and groans from people who had nothing better to do and should remember this is only a 2star rated hotel, and perhaps they should of paid the extra £1000 to stay in the appropriate style they are accustomed!!!

Toucan Inn ...we look forward to seeing you a gain and thanks for a great holiday. :D
