We are booked early next year to go to the Coco Reef AI there are a few points we would like clarifying .

Is it usual to tip each time staff serve you or at the end of your stay to show your appreciation of the service you have received.

Also is afternoon tea within the Virgin Holiday package included .

Can you have tea or coffee when you like as we are not heavy drinkers of alcohol

Hi Pamela

It would be exceedingly tacky to tip staff each time they serve you - indeed many would find it insulting. A very discrete tip at the end of your stay would undoubtedly be appreciated.

Can't comment on the Virgin Holiday package as I have no idea what this is/means. However, as far as the hotel is concerned, I'm sure that you are either All Inclusive or not, and that they don't/won't have different treatment for Virgin Holiday customers. I believe that afternoon tea is part of the AI package. If you're not AI, then it will be available, but at a charge.

If memory serves me well (which it often doesn't), I was able to get coffee at pretty much any time.

Hi Pamela,

We stayed at Coco Reef last March on a "virgin" AI package. Afternoon tea (with or without cake) was not included in the AI package. Apart from that beverages were available throughout the day on AI. Hope this helps.
