Tobago Helicopters

Hi folks

I've been advised that a helicopter tour of Tobago is something not to be missed, but I'm not sure if its still possible to do or not.

I've read on this site about Hummingbird Helicopters, but believe they are no longer. Would anybody be aware if there are any other companies offering helicopter tours at the minute ??

We'll be in Tobago next month, se we're keeping our fingers crossed !!

Yes, its certainly something not to be missed. Sadly, Hummingbird Helicopters now only operate from their main base in Trinidad, so to hire them you have the cost of bringing a helicopter all the way from the far side of Trinidad. Their new offshoot, Tobago Helicopters, is still awaiting licencing from the Civil Aviation Authority and you know what beaurocrats are - who can guess when that will be through. In the meantime, I'm afraid there's no alternative.
