Baggage Surcharges: How much, which airlines from Trinidad?

We're going to Tobago in 10 days, through Trinidad. Can anyone tell me what the baggage surcharge is for each airline? We will have scuba gear, which can be heavy, and the surcharge is sometimes more than the original fare.

I've looked at the baggage allowance page here but it did not address excess baggage charges.

I went in May with some friends who brought their scuba gear. American and Tobago Express. They each had: 2 large suitcases and a carry on. Their suitcases were extremely heavy - with the scuba gear. They did not pay any surcharges. Also, went again this month, and my traveling companion had a suitcase which weighed 63 lbs. and was not charged any surcharges.

Thanks, Mr. Whitman. I appreciate the encouraging news. I've traveled to other places where the surcharge for the 'excess' baggage was more than the cost of the original flights!
