Woman solo visit for 48 hours

Post by Hannah Barker »

Hi there

I am travelling alone to Tobago next week for the first time on a very brief visit - possibly less than 24 hours unless I can get my act together and make it 48/72 hours. (this will depend on how well I can organise accommodation and a sense of what to do...!)

I'm meeting a friend/ colleague in Trinidad on Friday24th. So wil be late flight booking to arrive 22nd or 23rd.

Can you point me at the best area to stay if I'm interested in seeing a bit of the environment/ coast/rainforest ?

On a tight budget (I work in the Arts...) and quite happy to go cheap cheap accommodation or even stay with a family?

I'm happy to be on my own some of the time but also I'm also happy to be guided a bit - especially as I have very small amount of time and I'm sure there are some spectacular places to see - I ve never been to the Caribbean attal! I thought best to stay somewhere small an easier to meet people.

I am working on developing Carnival in Brighton, UK so intersted to meet any fellow artists/ producers.

any comments would be amazing!
Hannah
