Luggage Dimentions

Hi has any one else read about the NEW luggage dimentions?because i only found out about them a few weeks ago! I went to the Virgin Atlantic site to check out what they have on there on board planes because were flying with them in may,and found that your luggage dimentions on most or ALL airlines have to be 158cm or less in total measurement,that's for Height,width,and depth,added together,well i've been looking all over for cases,and saw a man the other day measuring a case in one of the department stores,as if we don't have enough to sort out without having to worry if our cases are to BIG!
