Tobago for teenagers?

Post by Chris Sykes »

We are going to Tobago for two weeks in April my wife and I love fishing my two boys also like to go but have a limited attention span and get bored with it after a while (can never figure that out) Is it a good place for teenagers can they move around the island freely and safely? are there any buses around etc. any advice would be most welcome.

To answer the part that's bolded out, yes it's a fun place for teenagers also. I myself am a teenager and I also used to live in 'bago. There are lots to do for the teens, hey you can even let them go and play with the locals. As the other members here have mentioned, you're safer in Tobago than anywhere else, just apply common sense and you'll be fine.

Hope this helps some :)

Chris,I have seen many teenagers in places like Castara who get to meet with the locals and do their own thing. There are no theme parks or any such thing and night life(except in CP area)is almost non-existant.But-with snorkeling, rain forest and general trips and tours I think that you will keep them occupied---and to bed early!!!
