Waterproofs

Post by Susan Mitchell »

Hi weather person,

I'll be in Tobago from 22nd June for a week.

Do you recommend bringing waterproofs, an umbrella, or just to drip dry?

Best wishes,

Sue

Waterproofs

Hi Susan,

Well i'd recommend dripping dry. If you wear a waterproof you'll sweat so much you'll be as wet inside it as it is on the outside. You could of course bring an umbrella if you want to...but if it's to protect your hair...the humidity will have got too it anyway!

I just drip dry and try not too get caught in heavy downpours. Skins waterproof and it's warm enough for you to dry quickly...just make sure you don't wear heavy, slow drying fabrics. I hope this helps but i'd recommend the drip dry approach!

Susan,I agree with Matt just drip dry-it's warm rain anyway!!!!If you really want some protection you can buy an umbrella for TT$25(about £2).

david is right. get a cheap one here.... sometimes it is nice to have one, when you are on the way to a restaurant for example and don't want to sit in there soaking wet...

enjoy
