Restaurant Recommendations - Tobago 2006

Post by Mike Upcraft »

Hi all.

My partner and I visited Toabgo for the first time last November and I am pleased to say that we are returning in just 8 weeks time.

Could I ask you to offer your opinion / recomendations for your favourite restaurants on the island and also if any new ones had appeared since our last visit.

I have noticed on a number of other threads that some of the new restaurants have already been mentioned.

I look forward to your replies.

Best Regards

Mike

hello mike
where are you going to stay? that might be interesting because I assume that you don't come for dinner to castara if you stay at the hilton (although it would be woth doing it  )

sunny greetings

Hello Mike

Welcome aboard!

Others will no doubt give their own recommendations, but I would suggest that you could do worse than to start with our own list in the Restaurants listings (menu: Food & Drink/Restaurants/Our Favourites).

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the reply. We are staying at Canoe Bay after a few visits last year. It is Exactly what we are looking for! Away from it all but not at the same time.

I must admit, I have not considered the Hilton for dinner as last year we visited some splendid local restaurants as well as some of the best on the island like The Seahorse Inn in Grafton and The Watermill on the Shirvan Road to name but a few..... But you cant beat the true local food....

Castara was recommended to us last time but unfortunately my Father-in law was taken ill and we lost a few days in visits to the hospital.
Will make sure we go this time round

Best Regards

Mike
