tours over the new year period

Post by Andy & Sara »

 Help!!! I have tried to email alibaba tours to enquire about tours etc.
(We arrive in castara on 4th jan for a week and would like to see a bit of tobago.) emails to and from alibaba don't seem to be reaching their destinations, a persistant promblem I hear, can anyone let me know if tours etc are still available over this period??? I know that most of our time will be spent enjoying the delights of castara, but we want to get a taste of the rest of the island before the week is out. (so we can plan the next trip!!!)

Hi Andy & Sara

Persistant problem? Where did you hear/read that. Yes, Castara has problems with communications from time to time, but Alibaba's are undoubtedly the most "on the ball" outfit in Castara as far as email goes.

What is happening to your emails? Are you just not getting a reply or are you getting error messages back? Are you using the correct address - [email protected]?

Yes, I am sure that tours will be available in January. Why wouldn't they be - its the start of the busy period for everyone there.

Hi Steve,
I have used the correct email address, and also tried through their website, could be a problem this end I suppose, but other mail getting sent & recieved o.k
As for tours etc. operating, I was thinking that maybe people would still be recovering from the new year celebrations> I'm sure rum consumption will increase over this period!!!

Hi Guys

Very unusual. I've fired an email off to Steph and I'm sure we shall have an answer within the day.

Hi Guys

Just heard back from Steph and can confirm that their emails are working perfectly. Steph says she's sent you four or five emails and is not getting any "undeliverable" messages. However, the address she's got is not the same as your forum account. So, hope you don't mind but I've given her that and hopefully she is now in touch with you.

Thank you Steph, got your (latest :!:) email, don't know what happened to the others, but at least we got there in the end!! As first time travellers to Tobago we are looking forward to our holiday with more and more excitement. I cannot praise this site, and the people who use it enough.
you have all painted a mental picture of heaven that we cannot wait to experience. Thank you to you all, and for anyone who will be in Castara during our stay we''ll be the couple with huge grins on our faces! Also glazed eyes from the rum punch...
See you in the boathouse, first ones on me! :D :D :D
