New Year's Eve

Post by JoeKino »

Hi, my first trip to Tobago is coming up this Christmas holiday and I'm wondering what's the norm for new year's. Are there "best places"? .. are reservations needed (or has that set you all off into gales of laughter) ?

Thanks

If I had the money and could wangle the time off work I would definitely travel to Castara for New Year's Eve.

That wouldn't bother me. In fact, that's all the more reason to be in Castara.

Hi Joe,

Did you find out where to go/what to do on New Years Eve? This is our first time to Tobago as well. Also staying in Crown Point.

Nothing yet, appears that most people on this board are not aware of anything particular and may have greater knowledge of other areas of Togbago. Perhaps we should check out a few places when we get there and organize our own get together!
I can always be reached at [email protected]

...Cheers, Joe

Joe and Mai-Lin, if you were looking for something to dress up for, I suspect that the large hotels like the Coco Reef in Crown Point and the Hilton Plantations in Lowlands will probably have a nice Old Year's Night Dinner & Dance. Other than that, your best bet would be to ask around when you get to Tobago! If you're lucky, you might get an invite to someone's private home party!
