Hi Russ
Welcome aboard!
If you go to our ferry article (menu: Tobago/Getting To Tobago/Ferry) you will find a link to the ferry website and current schedules. I believe they only release schedules up to about 3 months in advance.

Re: Ferry Service Times for T&T
Hi Steve
I see it now - many thanks for the promt response.
Hopefully in the next week or so the May/June timetables should be on that site, so I'll keep checking.
If the schedule stays the same as April, then the Sunday service of 08:30 is good for me.
Question: Do you know whether it is advisable to pre-book the ferry, and if so how would I do that from the UK? Note that the T&T vs England football match is on that day (June 1st) in Port of Spain, so I definitely need to be on that 08:30 boat!
Cheers

Russ, contact yes tourism for reservations on the fast ferry.I think they are the only company that can sell in advance-at least in Tobago.

Re: Ferry Service Times for T&T
Linda,
Yes, the game has been confirmed (Sunday 1st June, KO 5:30 pm local time, Port of Spain). I'm arriving on the 29th May for a week. My plan is somehow to get to PoS on the morning/early afternoon of the 1st and stay the night there, travelling back to Tobago the next day. I would prefer to take the fast ferry, but I'm worried about it being already fully booked before I arrive, given the likely interest from home fans wanting to travel over. So I may have to book a flight soon just in case they start getting full too. If your husband is thinking of going to the game and he wants to meet up, then drop a note here and we can try to make arrangements.
Mike,
Thanks for tip about Yes-Tourism. I had already e-mailed them some days ago asking if they offer a service of advanced booking for the ferry (there's nothing advertised on their web-site for this). As of yet, I have had no reply from them.
Regards

Re: Ferry Service Times for T&T
Does anyone know when the May ferry schedule will be released - we are only 3 weeks out.
Also if we plan to take the 5pm to Tobago on Saturday May 3 (if it exists) can we book tickets in advance?
We do not want to get there and find the ferry is overbooked.
Thanks Chris

I am happy to report that the May service is now on the web site (2 weeks and 2 days before its use). I am still interested in any ideas about booking ahead.
Thanks Chris

Re: Ferry Service Times for T&T
You may be interested in our ferry experience. We arrived at 8 am on Saturday to book the 5 pm as shown on the timetable. We were told that Saturday's were 4 pm last ferry. After waiting in line for about 30 mins there was a power cut and we were told to wait since they have no manual way of allocating tickets. About 3 hours later we obtained our tickets (1130 am) and we told to return at 230 pm for the 4 pm ferry. This really reduced our plans for the day in POS. We managed to walk through the town and enjoy a great lunch upstairs at Excelsior stores - better than anywhere we found on Tobago, but did not get to the Savannah. The ferry ride was scenic, enjoyable and appeared smooth although a lot of the locals looked very sick. Our return was by plane that was much faster. None of this would have been necessary if Delta had not canceled our direct flight from Atlanta.
