Guided tours: when to book?

I am going to Tobago on July 6th with husband and 2 children. Should we book some guided tours before we go on holiday or wait and book them once we are in Tobago? (We are staying 4 days each at Crown Point, Plymouth and Speyside). We have one tour (to Little Tobago) included in our holiday.

I would be inclined to wait to book tours, that way you have much more freedom to go with the flow, you may find that a particular tour that you had originally chosen, isn't what you want after all, alternatively, you may fall in love with one tour and decide to repeat it later in your stay. It is eay enough to book any type of tour when you are there, you may also negotiate a better price face to face.
