Accommodation overeall wan't bad - it was just the attitude of the staf who I found at tmes were rude, to the point that i actually complained to the manager. Food was disappointing, pool area basic and garden room (suite) overlooked a tiny bit of garden, no view whatsovere and was a haven for mosquitos. Also, on the day of our departure we had great difficulty in securing a room so that we could check out later in the day, despite having a baby. I would not recommend Tobago (Coco Reef) as a relaxing or enjoyable holiday destination.

As mostly of the peoples visiting Coco Reef like it very much, you maybe didn't know what type of hotel it is? It's not a European or Asian 4/5 star hotel, it's a Caribbean Hotel.
Rude staff? Never heard about rude staff there, maybe you and your friends are the cause of that reaction?

Well Said.
We have visited twice previously and are returning in September and can only compliment staff and management. A Great Hotel, but maybe not the best hotel for very young children.
So many people return many times so we cant all be wrong.
