Birdie's Nest is a real gem, and I'd go back in a minute. The beach is lovely and often empty;away from other tourists and very 'neighborhoody'. The accommodations were great. We (my husband and I) stayed in the top floor apartment and it was really nice. The kitchen was so easy to cook in, with everything that you needed including a nice big fridge/freezer. The deck off the kitchen was a great place for morning coffee, stretches, and staring at the sea all day long. Prince provided first hand personal hospitality and the place was super clean..the shower/tub area is really big, and bedrooms had good AC and fans. Prince was very relaxed about check out/check in time, unlike other places we stayed at in Tobago. He also gave great advice for where to go for hikes, or good meals, or where to shop for groceries. He let us use his wireless connection, which at the time he was working on getting into the apartments. This was the least expensive places we stayed in Tobago, and one of the best managed.
