Hi Siann

Although mobile reception has improved dramatically there in recent years, all communications in Tobago are erratic, to say the least - primarily due to the horrendous inefficiency of the local telecoms company TSTT. A lot depends upon where you are staying. If you are in the south-west of the island, you shouldn't have any problem - but inevitably reception can be sporodic in the more remote areas of the mountain.

Dear Dave,
You won't experience any dead spots in the Crown Point area or the more heavily populated areas on the southern side of the island. The only places you are likely to experience some dead spots are during the drive along the northern side of the island between Plymouth and Charlotteville, since those areas are very hilly and lightly populated. Even then the dead zones are fairly small.
