Entering the Beach House on a warm and soft December breeze evening, after a trip in one of these old, elegant, well-tended limousines with his pleasant driver and his sweet grandson Jason, we have already been caught by the Caribbean spirit.
The Beach House is certainly one of the most special places to stay on the island.
Having this pacific small bay in front there was no need for us to leave the veranda that often. We watched the locals swimming to their fishing-boats in the morning, and the glowing sun disappearing in the evening. We saw amazing rainbows appearing after short and gentle showers and we enjoyed to dive into the waves, which have been not too high.
We loved the walk to Castara, drinking coffee in the beach restaurant, buying fish on the market, fruits at this little shop on the corner, and the delicious pumpkin bread of the Thursdays
open-air bakery, and we liked visiting the nice old lady selling bus tickets.
We have been impressed of the peaceful Rainforest, where we made a trip with the genial King David, who loves the nature like few others, and his sprightly son Akko.
Porridge´s Car Rental brought us to Charlotteville where we met the tough Gail of Gail´s Restaurant. With the assistance of the smart Porridge and his kind and funny family, we felt to be in good hands. Thank You.

Thank you Carol and Graham.
