This was a very affordable and accommodating apartment. Simple but comfortable, with a perfect view and a short walk to the beach. The neighbor, Troy, who I believe is also the caretaker, was very pleasant and mellow. With our reservations, arrangements were made for us to be picked up at the airport. The driver was nice enough to stop at the Penny Savers on the way for us to shop for food, beer and of course punch. We were in our apartment and cooking dinner not long after we landed. It was absolutely perfect. I would certainly recommend Villa Carpe Diem to anyone going to Tobago in search of a non-resort/tourist trap vacation.
