Last minute change in booking

How frustrating! I've just gotten an email from Ocean Point letting me know that the room I booked for Nov27-29 will not be available due to roof construction. They've offered to "outbook" me to Enchanted Waters in Bucco.

I'll already be staying in Bucco from Nov30-Dec1, so was hoping to start my trip in Little Buckley Bay.

Any suggestions? Or should I grab the "outbook" room as I'm getting pretty close to my trip dates.

Thanks for any input.

Hi Jo-Anne

What a bxxxxx!

Enchanted Waters is not actually in Buccoo village - it's on the main (by Tobago standards) road that runs along the Caribbean coast, so it's well outside the village. I've never seen the rooms there, but its a quiet place and their restaurant (Patinos) is one of our favourites. Transport will be essential, because you're not within realistic walking distance of any beaches or other facilities, but apart from this, I think Enchanted Waters is possibly under-rated and would be a very nice place to stay.

Have a great trip.

Sorry, I meant to say that if you wanted to stay in the same area as the Ocean Point, the nearest good alternative is the Inn on the Bay ( http://www.innbay.de ), just down the road.

Hi Jo-Anne - just to re-iterate what Steve has just said about Inn on the Bay, we spent 10 days there in May this year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Hi all,

I'll be booked at Enchanted Waters for the two days and I'll be sure to post when I return to let you know how it is.

Thanks for the input.
