Christmas in Tobago

Hallo to all,

my wife and me will be in Tobago during Christmas time.
We are invited by some locals to spend the 24th of December with them.

Can anyone please inform us about Christmas traditions in Tobago?
Are gifts presented to each other normally? Does this happen on
evening of December 24th as in Germany or on first Christmas Day
(December 25th) only?

Do any other special Christmas traditions exist?
