Noisy Room at Coco Reef?

We stayed at Coco Reef in January of this year and enjoyed it so much that we have booked again in a month's time (15th Jan for a fortnight). This year we were overlooking Store Bay (Room 246) and for January we have requested a room overlooking Coco Beach (same wing but the other side of the corridor, i.e. 249 or similar). However, I read a posting recently in the Forum about noise coming from a new Night Club on the road to Pigeon Point, mostly on a Friday or Saturday night. My husband is completely allergic to noise after 11 pm and we certainly had no problem staying in the hotel last time. Can anybody give me a recent update on the noise situation and whether it will affect our holiday and should request our old room back, or whether we should take a gamble ...
