Crown Point to Scarborough- how long a trip?

Post by K Travers »

Hi all- this is perhaps a silly question, but I can't seem to find out about how long it takes to drive from the Crown Point area to Scarborough.

My husband and I will be staying for a brief 2 nights at the Toucan Inn in Crown Point, before venturing to Speyside for another week. I wanted to poke around this south-eastern end of the island before heading off to the more remote Speyside. Though I don't want to "overschedule" the limited time we'll have there, I did want to spend some time on the beach(es) of the area, have a nice, more upscale meal, and perhaps visit the market in Scarborough. How much time would you budget to hop in a cab, head to Scarborough, browse the market, perhaps have a rum punch and a roti somewhere, and head back?

Thanks for you help,

Karin

Depends on where abouts in Crown Point and Scarborough, but 15-20 minutes should be an adequate guide - so basically no time at all. You shouldn't need to allow much more than 2 hours for the trip you mentioned - Scarborough hasn't much to offer other than the market.
