Castara is not a place that you should go if you’re looking for glitzy shops and exciting nightlife. But if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere where life takes a step back in time and the simple things are what matter, then this is definitely the place for you. This was one of the best vacations we have ever had, made even more special by the location of the accommodations and the wonderful friends we made in Castara. We had the pleasure of spending a full month in the Grouper. The Grouper is 3 steps from the beach and the view from the living area is second to none! There is a great little sitting area just outside the back door with a couple benches that give you the best view of the sunset on the entire beach. It has a great kitchen, and a small private patio in the back as well. Mr. George and his staff did a great job taking care of everything around the resort. We enjoyed attending Mr. George’s birthday party where we met some of the wonderful people from the village and other guests staying at the resort. We are planning on returning to Tobago and to Castara and when we do, the Naturalist Beach Resort will be at the top of our list of places to stay. Thank you, Mr. Ancel George and staff, for making our stay a memorable one; we will be looking forward to seeing you all again.
