coco reef and children..a perfect combination.

we have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at coco reef.throughout our stay our 2 year old daughter was welcomed by staff and guests alike including everyone in tamaras restaurant! the beach is ideal for young children and unlike others on the island gently sloping and sheltered from rough waves.so if you are thinking of visiting the resort please dont be put off by some of the other comments on this site.coco reef is an ideal hotel for people with young families.
ps if you venture up the leeward coast of the island visit parlatuvier.the shrimps served by gloria joseph at the riverside restaurant are amazing,much better than the food at jemmas in speyside which seemed a bit of a tourist trap. one word of advice to those of you who hire a car....charlotteville really is as far as you can go....dont be tempted to take the dirt track on to pirates bay...there's been a landslide about 1/4 mile along the track and as breathtaking as the views are,reversing a 4wd back along a narrow road half way up the hillside is quite an experience!
for those of you about to go have a wonderful time...coco reef is an amazing hotel....and say hullo to bernecia and liz from little lucy.
