The Coffee House Apartments in Castara consist of two accommodations within a three minute walk of Castara beach. Recently constructed, these two self-contained self-catering apartments are situated in lush gardens on the southern edge of the village of Castara.
These comfortable apartments are owned and managed by Cheno, who also runs Castara's popular Coffee House café. The Coffee House is well known for its terrific breakfasts and friendly service and Cheno as someone who is friendly and helpful to anyone staying with him, or eating in his café.
These studio apartments are located in quiet gardens that overlook Castara village green and the rainforest beyond. Constructed in 2012 they offer good value and are nicely finished. Castara beach is short walk along a well-trodden footpath alongside the bank of the stream flowing from the rainforest to the bay.

we love this place its clean well equipped and has air conditioning, the breakfasts are great as well as chenos popular saturday night BBQ with steel drumming, Cheno is friendly, helpful will pick you up from the airport and as he lives above you is always around if you need anything.a short stroll along the river path to the big beach and supermarket and you can follow the river path to a lovely waterfall which you can swim in.
we found it quiet even at night as barking dogs can be a problem in some areas of the village but you cant avoid the cocks crowing where ever you go.
ten out of ten for us and we have been coming to castara for the last ten years.

We enjoyed our stay with Cheno and his family very much. We were made to feel at home throughout and the apartment was as described in a very handy corner of the village. We have visited Castara several time but this was a first time at Cheno's. Everything we needed at a very sensible price. We are already planning a return trip. Neil and Linda.
