Located in Great Courland Bay on Tobago's northern coast, the all-inclusive Starfish Tobago, previously known as the Turtle Beach hotel, owned by Rex Resorts, is relatively basic and somewhat unsophisticated, but does represent decent value for money. The hotel is situated right beside stunning Turtle Beach where Giant Leatherback turtles can regularly be seen laying eggs during the season.
With effect from 1st December 2018, the hotel is to be renamed Starfish Tobago Resort and will be managed by the Canadian Sunwing Travel Group in what Rex Resorts calls a "strategic alliance".

Tobago first timer . We were pleasantly surprised surprised with the resort . Yes it is basic and a little older , however , they are starting some upgrades. The staff were great . Any requests were looked into at once . They also would offer up tips and suggestions for trips , taxi's etc when inquiring about their island . Great beach , food was good , and the rooms were good . Beds were comfortable and cleaning was great.
Great value . Remember . This is NOT a five star luxury hotel NOR do they advertise it as so . It does have great potential and we can expect the prices to rise as improvements are done. To me the people make the difference , and the staff at the Starfish were Top Notch . Make the effort to talk with them. They love their island and want to share it with anyone interested . Enjoy

It was the best. My second stay at the hotel and i already booked my third. The food and ambiance is great. I was skeptical at first because it was recommended by a friend, but now, have no regrets. The staff is welcoming and warm. All inclusive means all inclusive, you haven't had to digest breakfast and lunch is ready and then dinner. The bar opens till 11pm. The pool is kid friendly at 3 1/2 ft deep.
Turtle beach is the best. I love it.
